A new semester has begun and I've started three new classes:
1. The History of Medieval Women: Image Vs Reality
2. Official and Unofficial Religion (we talk about heresy a lot)
3. The Magna Carta (much more interesting than I thought it would be)
I'm also continuing on with Palaeography (reading old scripts) and the evil language of Latin.
Here are some pictures from the past few weeks.
An unusual sight: The Peter Pan statue with no tourists around it!
I walk past this statue of Paddington Bear in Paddington Station all the time and just noticed it.
So random. You can see this from Waterloo Bridge.
Regent's Park: pretty even in the dead of winter.
Regent's Park: that's a lot of birds!
Regent's Park: both sides of the river had great blue herons spaced evenly apart down the whole bank. There were about 10 of them.
Regent's Park: The Whomping Willow?
Madame Tussauds: Johnny Depp
Madame Tussauds: Harry, Charles, and Camilla. Harry was pleased to see me:)
I feel like this needs no explanation.
After seeing Hugh in real life, this wasn't quite the same.
